How you can save £1,000 of the price of an all-new Renault Zoe

Here’s how Renault is helping to make electric vehicle ownership more affordable.

First deliveries haven’t even started yet for Renault’s new second-generation Zoe, but that hasn’t stopped Renault going out of its way to encourage more motorists to make the switch to electric.

The all-new model is vastly improved, with highlights including the interior that’s been adopted from the latest Clio supermini.

Renault has also enhanced what is undoubtedly the thing that most buyers look from with an EV – range. Thanks to a new 52kWh battery, the range of the Zoe has been increased to an impressive 245 miles – the longest of any car in its sector. That represents a massive 31 per cent increase on the outgoing Zoe’s 41kWh battery.

The model also boasts class-leading residual values – something that has led Renault to axe the option for customers to lease the battery.

It now means that Zoe prices start from as little as £25,675 – undercutting the price of other electric models with lesser ranges, such as the Honda e and Vauxhall Corsa-e.

But the model also has plenty of appeal to those looking to finance their Zoe, too, with zero per cent APR being offered across the range – meaning that even if you choose to finance this EV, you won’t be left out of pocket.

It means that on a two-year finance arrangement, customer deposits from £2,995 are available, along with low monthly payments of £269 over a two-year arrangement.

But adding to the Zoe’s appeal is a £1,000 ‘Switch to Electric’ voucher. This is available to retail customers looking at buying a new Zoe, and is an additional chunk of money that only makes this electric model even more affordable – also making it cheaper than the Peugeot e-208, too. You’re also able to use this voucher in combination with Renault’s other offers, too.

To be able to take advantage of the cash offer, your new Zoe must be ordered by February 29 and registered by June 30.
